The buck is the most influential part of a herd. We take pride in our selection of bucks.
LGF Onyx
LGF Onyx is our main herd sire. He is the rock of our breeding program and the reason we have known any level of success. He is fully registered with the CGA and boasts great fiber scores, an MFD < 15 microns, a 2.5″ staple length, and great style. More than that, he is a joy to have on our farm. He is kid safe, he is easy to comb, easy to handle (even in rut!), and he is the fairest leader of the bachelor herd. He knows when to step in to dissolve a fight but also is willing to crack skulls with any unruly young buck that steps out of line. He’s super intelligent and sensible. He’s beautiful himself and throws every color kid from tri-colors, salt & peppers, browns, black, whites, silvers… you name it, he can throw it. This boy is worth his weight in gold!
HPF Augey
HPF Augey is our second mature buck who made his debut during the 2024 breeding season. He came to us from one of the most experienced breeders of Cashmere goats in the United States. This boy is sensitive as he is beautiful. He errs on the shy side but caught he is easy as can be. He’s always one of my favorite boys to comb.
